​motionfiber MTP-24-Way Box serves as a passive distribution point for fiber optic connections between two or more locations.

It provides the user with 48 singlemode or multimode fibers. On the front panel, two 24-channel MTP24 connectors ensure simple and reliable connection of the individual nodes.

 

The proven motionfiber “Hot Patch” system offers maximum flexibility and enables latency-free distribution of all signals between the distribution points. Within the integrated patch panel, MTP connections are converted – similar to a fan-out – into duplex LC connections. On the rear side, the breakout is realized via QSEAL2 chassis connectors, which are fully compatible with duplex LC patch cables as well as Neutrik opticalCON DUO. This allows for clean, structured, and fast device cabling.

 

Unlike fixed fan-out cables, the patch panel allows the use of arbitrarily long LC patch cables. In case of failure, these can be quickly and easily replaced without affecting the remaining fiber connections – a decisive advantage for reliable operation.
